Obv: Bust of Christ facing, wearing halo with cross, small cross in each limb of the nimbate cross and on the Book of Gospels held by Christ; inscription 'Emmanuel' (around) and 'Jesus - Christ' (abbreviated across field). Rev: Inscription, 'Jesus Christ, King of Kings,' in four lines with ornament above (off flan) and cross below. Scarce variant with extra crosses on the limbs of the cross behind Christ's portrait and on the Gospels that he holds. Berk-948, Sear-1813. Unusual type.
